Does God Have a Purpose For the Earth and Me?

I have always wondered what God's purpose was for the earth and mankind and why he created this wonderful home for mankind. Can you imagine a powerful Being existing initially alone and then creating first the angels and finally mankind? It is hard for me to fathom.

The first human pair were perfect in both mind and body and only one mandate was placed on them. If they obeyed, perfect life was theirs. They disobeyed, choosing to be independent of their Creator. And so perfect lives were introduced to imperfection leading to death.

Did that upset God's plans to have perfect mankind living on the earth? No for he immediately made a way out to save mankind and that was through the means of His son, the very first angel to be created. You see, Jesus had a beginning; he had an end. The Creator was always there. No beginning and definitely no end. Wow!

And so God proceeded to guide humans generation after generation until the birth of his son, Jesus. I am going to assume that the spirit creature who succeeded in deceiving Eve and causing Adam to sin likewise attempted to thwart Jesus' birth as well as numerous attempts to get him to disobey his Father.

After all, didn't that evil spirit creature tell God that no human being will remain faithful to God if put to the test? That is what happened to Biblical Job. Job lost his 10 children, his livelihood and he even acquired a painful skin disease. Even his wife told him to "curse God." But Job remained faithful and proved Satan a liar. So did Noah, Moses, Ruth and so forth.

After Jesus had said, prior to his death, that he had "conquered the world" of mankind, he basically was telling the generations following that they can live up to God's standards. Though not as perfect as he did, the ability to do so was there.

And now where are we in the stream of time? God did purpose the earth to be a paradise, and to be ruled by His son. After all, we pray for that kingdom(government) in the Lord's Prayer or the "Our Father" prayer. Jesus, himself, said that he came to the earth to direct people's attention to this new government. He also said that certain signs would occur prior to this incoming government. "Men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self assuming, haughty, blasphemers, having no natural affection, and having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power. Even "nation will rise against nation, food shortages, and increased lawlessness." Did I just read the newspaper's headlines?

I guess the most important thing and like any other government taking control, this new government has the right to demand certain rules of conduct if living under it will be peaceful and the threat of harm to anyone gone forever. When is it? No one knows. But with everything now happening, I can't help but feel we are on the brink of something major happening.

I don't know about you, but I am going to study God's manual to find out what it is I have to do in order to meet with God's approval and the ability to live on a paradise earth under one government by Jesus. From the beginning of the scriptures to the end - God's mandate for a perfect earth filled with perfect mankind still is very much a part of His purpose.

Thoughts Are Energy, Thoughts Are Things

The immense Universe is an enormous energy-network in which everything and every person is connected at an energetic level.
There is only one Source of life that expresses itself through person, animal, plant or mineral.
Nothing is separated from this energetic network.

Quantum-physics discovered this truth long ago.
Matter is not as solid as it seems to be.
Matter is a never-ending movement of light-particles that are kept in a certain form by invisible powers.

Scientists are discovering that, analyzing any matter until the very tiniest elements, beyond atoms and subatomic particles, it all comes down to one visible primal substance from which all originates

Matter in its essence is Solidified Spirit. Particles of photon (particles of light) solidified or lowered in vibration in such a way that we as human beings can perceive them.

This Universal Spirit or Primal Substance is at the basis of everything that is solid, liquid, gas or ethereal.
Every person, animal, plant or mineral originates from it.
They all have a different appearance, but are all born from the same Source.

They only differ in composition and vibration.

We are all one with Source, that manifests itself in every living being.
In essence there is no difference between us and other beings.
Every being is an expression of the Life Force, but in a different and unique state of development and expression.

Some prefer to call this Force, God, some call it Allah, Brahma, Cosmos, Life source etc. etc..
What really is important is the quality of the relation we have with our living self. The better the quality, the better our connection to All-That-Is.

The Universe is a living entity with an indescribable intelligent operating system.
The law that is at the basic of everything is The Law of Attraction or The Creating Principle.

The Law of Attraction means that every soul creates his own reality based upon his deepest beliefs and convictions of life.

Thoughts are phenomenal creating powers.
Thoughts are the designers of Universal substance and so they are the creators of our experience from moment to moment.
The world as we experience it, is one great reflector of our inner attitude to life, of our inner vibration.

Life Game really is;

Energy moves round in circles. That means that we can only receive on the same wavelength at which we are tuned into(broadcasting). Somewhat like the boomerang effect.
Each of us is sender and receiver at the same moment.

Our thoughts, feelings, intentions and expectations are nothing else than waves of energy that vibrate at a certain energy level.
Once sent out, these waves link up with similar waves and come back to us in reinforced way.

Compare this to a radio-transmitter.
If we program our radio at 102 Mhz. it will be impossible to receive anything from another frequency.
We broadcast our inner thoughts and feelings continuously and attract like a magnet all that is on the same vibrational level.

Our most hidden convictions really never stay inside us but are picked up at a deep energetic level by all beings resonating at our same energy level.
These are declarations about ourselves that are registered at a unconscious level by the world around us.
They are sent into the universe and connected with likewise energies like birds of a feather flock together.

You sometimes hear people say; We are what we think. Does this saying hold a great truth?? Do our thoughts really have such an enormous influence on our lives?
Years ago the following test was done;

A teacher entered the classroom (the children were between 6 and 7 years old) and tells them that it has been proven that children with blue eyes are more intelligent and smarter than children with green or brown eyes.
The results were immediate and dramatic. The blue-eyed children started to perform above their normal level in all aspects.
Two month later the teacher calls the kids for a special meeting and tells them that he had made a terrible mistake. He apologises and tells them that it has been proven that children with brown and green eyes are smarter and more intelligent.
Again the results were immediate and dramatic, the blue eyed children started to perform under their normal level, whereas the brown and green eyed children started to show better results.

Now what does all of this indicate?

- If you sincerely believe you are smart, you will act smart.

- if you believe you are creative, you will act creative.

- if you believe you are a success, you will act successful.

- etc. etc.

We all live according the Image we have of yourself.

This Image we have of ourselves is most of the time not created by ourselves but consists of thoughts and opinions that other people have of us and that they want us to believe.
We probably all can recall situations in which we were intimidated by remarks of others, which seemed to be innocent but did have a great impact.

Remarks that we have carried with us all our life.
It can even be so bad, that people dont believe in themselves anymore and dont dare to undertake anything.
They need to first step beyond their mental limitations before they can accept a life with more freedom.

Most people believe only what they see with their own eyes. Awakening spirits however believe BEFORE seeing. They know that power of the spirit influences all of their actions and human contacts. They are aware of the Universe Law of Attraction.

The key to freedom is the way we relate to our thoughts and feelings, the convictions we choose and an understanding of the fact that we are no victims of our circumstances.
Freedom turns out to be something that you CHOOSE and CREATE and not something that happens to you because you are by coincidence in a certain place or meet certain people or are lucky.

- Thoughts that you repeat all the time become your convictions.

- These convictions evoke inner IMAGES.

- These inner Images influence our feeling or emotions.

- Repeated emotions create a pattern of behaviour or a habit.

- Habits express themselves through radiation.

- This radiation creates our life experience.

- Our life experience confirms our beliefs.

An example:

Think for instance of the fulfilment of a dream you have. Together with this thinking your imagination comes in action automatically. You see yourself in a fulfilled situation with all the nice details there. These images evoke a feeling of happiness, joy, gratitude, etc.
The more you play with these feelings the more they become a pattern, a habit that becomes a basis of your actions.
Eventually you radiate this to the world around you and others start to treat you in a way that levels your feelings.
What you experience (unexpected lucky/fortune, sudden encounters, etc) confirms the initial thought that you are worth the fulfilment of your dreams.

See how it works?

The same counts for negative thoughts. If you see yourself as small and unworthy, your imagination searches for affirmation in your subconscious. It finds old memories of failure, images of situations in which you did not succeed and did not meet your inner expectations.

These images create negative feelings like frustration, fear and shortcoming. They become a pattern; insecurity and lack of self confidence
You will radiate these negative feelings to others and they will start treating you based on this.

If you dont believe in yourself, how can you expect that others do?

Since you do not believe in yourself you will experience more rejections and less luck and fortune in your daily life and communication with others. This again affirms the basic thought of not being good enough

This results in the following :

- Thought (inner conviction) +

- Imagination (visualisation) +

- Feeling (emotions) +

- Behaviour (habits, actions) +

- Radiation (subconscious influence on the world around) =

EXPERIENCE

Our mind has an unlimited ability to learn new things.
We only use 10% of it.
That means there is 90% unexplored.
The most important step toward the exploration of these latent abilities lies in reaching out to this potential.
We have the power to step out of this mass consciousness and choose our own life-beliefs.

We need to program our subconscious in a positive way. Remember: what we sow in our subconscious, we will harvest in the material world.
Our mind can be our enemy or our ally.
If we tell ourselves I cant do this, we will most certainly not succeed.
Our subconscious will immediately find reasons to backup this statement.

A saying from Henry Ford which is so very true: If you think you can, or if you think you cant, you are always right!!

Composting Tips, Tricks and Help

There are many ways to create a compost pile. Some are good and others are better. Read on to find out what you need to know in order to have a healthy compost pile which will yield lots of good humus to enrich your garden and keep it producing at its best.

The ingredients

Primarily in order to keep a compost pile activeyou'll need a balance of ingredients. Too much of one single component and your pile may not produce a usable compost. The ingredients should be a mixture of various organic materials. (For example: coffee grounds, leaves, grass, fruit cores/peelings, egg shells, etc. - just don't use meats in your pile.) As time goes by, you may notice some ingredients in the pile are more numerous than others, so make it a point to add various materials to replenish and balance your compost - and check it frequently.

Containers and bins

Should you use a container or a bin? My general feeling is that you should use what everyou're most comfortable with. If you use a fence or other open bin, just be aware that you will be required to use a pitch fork or some other device to turn the compost occasionally. If you use a manufactured container, most of them have an automated way for you to turn them whichdoesn't usually require a lot of physical exertion. Though usually with that automation comes a higher price tag.

Dampen - don't soak

If you soak your compost pile, you won't ever get any humus! Compost requires some water - but not much!Don't drown the compost pile - a sprinkle from the hose every couple of days should provide enough moisture for your compost to function properly. If you have a bin and get some rain on a frequent basis, it may not even need to be sprinkled. Your compost needs to be moist but not wet. The proper balance will allow for the organisms to break down the compost more quickly and get you more plant growing humus for your garden.

Compost needs air

Aeration is another integral ingredient in your compost pile. Providing your compost with air allows the bacteria and organisms that produce humus to thrive. So how do you aerate your compost? You use a pitch fork or other turning device which allows air to enter the pile as you turn it. You don't need to turn it every day, usually once a week is enough. This should keep those bacteria and other organisms alive and happily breaking down your compost.

Temperature

There is no ideal temperature for composting. Just make sure that when you touch it, it feels warm. Ensure that the compost pile stays warm or else the whole process for composting will not occur as it should. Ifyou're one of those folks who keep meticulous records, you could try using a thermometer and see which temperatures seem to produce the most humus over time.You'll need a good thermometer for this. Most gardening stores should have a suitable thermometer for this purpose. But usually just touching it to feel the warmth will work.You'll know thatit's at the correct temperature if you see your compost steaming in the sunny autumn mornings.

Composting Location

The spot where you create your compost pile should be in a fairly convenient location - one which allows easy access for you to add ingredients as they become available. It is not necessary to have it in a sunny location, nor will the sun cause a problem should you choose a location in the sun. It's your pile and ifyou're proud of it (and the fact that your helping to keep our planet green) you can have the pile anywhere you choose!

Keep the above in mind when you are creating and maintaining your compost pile andyou'll be rewarded with lots of brown gold (humus)!

Window Header Framing Problems

As a building contractor it is my job to assemble the house to meet the specifications from the architect and the structural engineer. I do this by looking at the building plans and installing the specified lumber sizes. I can take it upon myself to install a larger size wood beam or window header adding an additional cost to the job of course. I don't think so.

It's not uncommon for a framing contractor that has an additional 5 foot scrap piece of 4 x 8 left over that he now has no use for. He can then choose to use the 4 x 8 instead of a 4 x 6 for the window header. This type of building is common and acceptable.

If the structural engineer calls out for 4 x 6 window and door headers do not take it upon yourself to replace the 4 x 6 with a 4 x 4. I have seen too many framing contractors or carpenters make an on-the-job judgment like this.

A good example would be a single story house with 2 foot wide windows that require a 4 x 6 window header. As the carpenter builds homes over the years he can come to his own conclusion that a 4x4 will work fine for this application. Again keep this in mind as a framing contractor and a carpenter you are assembling the home not designing it.

Do not change the sizes of any headers or beams.

A long time ago carpenters used a standard rule of thumb, you could go up two sizes larger than the window opening for your header. Let me give you an example of what I'm trying to explain.

A 4 foot wide window opening would require a 4 x 6 window header. A 6 foot window opening would require a 4 x 8 window header. This should give you an idea of what I mean by going up two sizes larger than the window opening to figure out the lumber necessary to use for your window header.

This rule of thumb does not necessarily apply in today's building industry. The reason for this is structural changes from earthquake damage. The structural requirements that are required for building a home require a lot more metal bracing and strapping. Therefore some of the lumber requirements for beam sizes and window headers will be different.

This message is for general contractors, framing contractors and carpenters. When installing a window header and you take it upon yourself to change the size you also assume the responsibility if the building fails. This type of mistake is common and you guys know what I'm talking about.

It's not worth it. Keep in mind you are the assembler and not the designer of the building you are working on.
