Using a competitor's site to see what types of articles, keywords and information can help make their site competitive as well.

The writer should also read up on SEO marketing because this will help with choosing the appropriate phrases. These phrases and keywords can help with the direction of the article, therefore answering the writer's question of what to write. Brainstorming or placing ones self in the buyer's shoes can also help determine appropriate content for a website. After all they will be looking for something specific and any information relating to that product will draw them.
